RRB SSE Exam Syllabus & Pattern:-

Total question- 150 and Time duration- 2 hour.

[A]General Ability: – 60 questions from below parts

  • Arithmetic
  • General Awareness
  • Reasoning& General Intelligence

[B]General Science&Technical ability:- 90 Question

Marking:- 1/3 negative marking is applicable for each wrong  answers.

RRB Senior Section Engineer Part A Syllabus:-

Arithmetic:- Ratio & proportion, Interests, Mensuration, Algebra, profit & loss, time &distance, Pipes & Cisterns, time and work,  percentage, Data Interpretation Age problems.

General Awareness:- Indian – History, Economy Current affairs, Polity, sport, Geography, Rail Budget, new technologies and Reform in Indian Railway, about Indian railway.

Reasoning& General Intelligence:-Decision making , syllogism, Blood relations , Number Series, Input-Output,visual memory, Word Building, Arithmetic number series ,Coding-decoding, Clock, Calendar, Seating arrangement,analogy, Similarities and differences, space visualization or orientation, Direction sense test, figural classification, arithmetical reasoning, coding and decoding, Statement conclusion, non-verbal series.

RRB SSE Part B Syllabus:-

[Part-B] General Science & Technical ability:- 90 Question

General Science:-In this part question are appear in basic topics of Science of class 12th  including Biology, Physics, Chemistry.

RRB Computers Engineering Syllabus:-  Good knowledge in computer skills & application, MS Office,DBMS, Information systems ,Computer fundamentals, Database , languages, Software Engineering, System programming, Network communication, Operating systems,Web technology & programming Algorithms, Computer Networks.

RRB Electrical Engineering Syllabus:- Power and Control Systems , Basics of circuit & Power Electronics,Electrical and Electronic Measurements, Electrical Machines,Signals and Systems, Circuits and Measurement Systems, Electrical MachinesAnalog and Digital Electronics.

RRB Information Technology Syllabus:-Web technology & programming, MS Office, Computer fundamentals & organization, Information systems DBMS System, C , C++, Java language , Operating systems, UNIX , programming,Environment & Pollution Control , Data & Network communication, SAD, Software Engineering.
